Isolated AGM/GEL battery charger with BQ24450 (UC3906) with daisy-chain
Battery charger on the basis of the BQ24450 (UC3906) with isolated input to load several AGM/GEL cells in series.The charger features an isolated input with DCDC converter, with which it is possible separately to load multiple, connected in series, cells in the compound.
For example, "Murata NDS6" or "Delta DJ06S" can be used. Alternatively can be connected if no insulation is required, directly. The circuit is due to the charging current of approx. 0.35A, for cells to 10Ah. The circuit follows largely the standard circuit, the reflux diode was replaced here however an active circuit to keep the voltage loss. The use of a 15V DCDC converter due to this.
