Microsoft XBOX IDE/SATA Adapter – Startprobleme – Fehlercode 09

By timing problems when using an IDE/SATA Adapter it can happen that the XBOX quitiert a startup with the error code 09. Workaround here can establish a connection between Pin1 of the IDE interface on the IDE/SATA Adapter (/ reset) and R3G3 on the motherboard (3.3V on the power button) over a 1 k (1k-3k3) create resistance. (This is valid for versions 1.4/1.5 motherboard) Due to the fact that the IDE/SATA registering not ready/connected device on the bus to plug the Xbox sends a request which remains unanswered and is acknowledged with error code "09". It now starts with the power button, the IDE bus is for the time in which the button is pressed, in the reset State, a request on the part of the Xbox is therefore not possible. (Times of 300-600ms are sufficient)
